Our Story

​

In this picture, the year was 1988 and I was just days shy of my 18th birthday.  It was my final year in high school and our baseball team where I was the pitcher was on the cusp of winning the school's first baseball state championship! I was looking forward to going on to college with the possibility of continuing my baseball journey as a pitcher.  However, God saw otherwise.  We eventually won the state championship on the day of my 18th birthday! 

 

I was born and raised in Anguilla, a small town in the Mississippi Delta where I grew up playing school sports, riding bikes and having fun and getting into a little trouble every now and then like kids used to in our close knit community. I have always had a passion for fixing and building things to make them work, whether it was fixing up my bicycle or my own vehicle that I worked one summer to save the money and purchased it from my uncle.  

 

Upon graduation from high school, I eventually entered into the automotive technology program at Mississippi Delta Community College where my learning and passion for making vehicles work like they were supposed to grew.  In 1989 I received my associates degree in Automotive Technology and subsequently became employed as a mechanic at a thriving local dealership where I spent many years servicing and repairing vehicles for customers.

In 1992 I married my high school sweetheart, Trenda Bankhead Hackett  and in 1993 we along with our son eventually moved to Vallejo, CA. I became employed with a prominent dealership continuing my passion and desire for keeping customers happy and satisfied by making sure their vehicles were in the best running condition possible. We eventually relocated back to Mississippi where I returned to the dealership where my career began and later served as the shop foreman.

It's been over 30 years ago since the day I entered into that first dealership to began a satisfying and rewarding career of keeping customers happy by treating them with respect and honesty and providing the quality vehicle service and repair that they so deserve and desire.

Today, as I embark upon the new opportunities that the current season we are in has presented due to shelter in place and stay-at-home orders, it is my desire to provide you with the quality and professional service you need.
